The apartment was beautiful and had great potential, but our experience was disappointing. On the first night, a loud party downstairs lasted until 7 a.m., and the thin walls made sleeping impossible. Despite raising concerns, the gate remained open throughout our stay, making us feel unsafe.
The area also felt uncomfortable, as two men from neighboring apartments frequently followed and watched us, even to our car. Additionally, the cleanliness was subpar: oily kitchen surfaces, dirty floors, and stained towels forced us to clean ourselves and buy new towels. The mattresses in the single-bed room were uncomfortable for a long stay.
Evenings often brought a strong smell of cannabis, likely through the ventilation. While the host was responsive and tried to help, these issues made it hard to enjoy our stay. With improvements in security, cleanliness, and comfort, this could be a great place.
